Alex Oumantsev is a Senior Scientific Engineer at BioTeam specializing in HPC, storage design, and infrastructure automation. He brings extensive experience from university cyberinfrastructure groups, managing computational systems for life sciences core facilities. Prior to joining BioTeam, Alex developed end-to-end solutions bridging instrument control computers with HPC workstations at the University of Florida. At BioTeam, Alex helps organizations improve scientific productivity through DevOps, containerization (Docker, LxC), and Science DMZ implementation.
