Intro:
Bruno joined BioTeam in 2021. He focuses on supporting Machine Learning initiatives as well as developing software to enable more efficient research in life sciences. His main ambition is to optimize the tools and workflows that scientists use so that they can spend most of the time on their research questions.

Background
Bruno received his B. Sc. in Aerospace Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2011. He started his career as an embedded systems engineer at the MIT Space Systems Laboratory. He worked on the hardware and software systems of shoebox-sized satellites known as “cubesats”. After obtaining his M. Sc. in Aerospace Engineering, he shifted his focus towards developing cloud technologies. For the last six years he has worked in a variety of projects including cloud computing resource management, virtualization, cryptography, and cybersecurity.
Personal Interests:
Bruno enjoys hiking, camping, climbing, traveling, and reading books on topics he knows nothing about. In the evenings, you can find him playing soccer or volleyball. He is passionate about astronomy and is slowly learning the constellations of the Northern Hemisphere.
