Supported Operating Systems
Bioteam has downloadable installers for two platforms:

• OS X 10.4 Server (10.5 coming soon)
  
• ROCKS 4.2.1 and greater

In addition, iNquiry can be installed on nearly any Unix-like operating system.  We have performed custom installations on:

• Apple OS X Server
• Linux (CentOS, RedHat, and SUSE)
• Solaris
• Windows Compute Cluster Servers

The time required for these custom installations will vary depending on the required level of integration with other local resources.   Generally, it requires two to five days of additional time by BioTeam consultants.

Distributed Resource Managers
iNquiry can run on a standalone workstation or server, but it is at its best when coupled with the power of a compute cluster.

iNquiry currently supports four distributed resource manager (DRM) choices:

• Platform LSF
• Sun Grid Engine
• Altair PBS Pro
• Open PBS
